3.0 Laboratories by Budget Category

The purpose of this section is to provide faculty and lab developers with several examples of laboratory packages that fit into distinct budget categories:

3.1  Starter laboratory for less than $10,000

3.2  Intermediate laboratory for less than $25,000

3.3  Complete (or sufficient) laboratory for less than $50,000

3.4  Superior and highly flexible laboratory for more than $100,000

(This facility would include a greater variety of PV equipment/tools and would also accommodate a larger number of laboratory experiments and individualized hands-on practice from basic through advanced training.)
