The Small Wind Conference is seeking presentation proposals for the 10th annual conference, to be held June 16–18 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Wind installers, site assessors, consultants, designers, authors, wind energy business owners and employees, and other professionals in the industry are invited to submit proposals before the January 31 deadline.
The organizers are open to any and all topics concerning small wind-electric systems, and urge you to consider your recent experiences and what you’re excited about in our industry. Share your insights, your expertise, and your creative genius with the educated Small Wind Conference audience, and help move the industry forward. Visit www.smallwindconference.com to download the proposal form.
The 2014 conference represents a decade worth of achievement in setting the agenda for small wind installers, site assessors and policy advocates. The conference supports and facilitates a synergy between manufacturers, system designers and installers. From its gritty, humorous origins by a dedicated group of “militant installers,” the conference has grown to embrace a diverse collection of industry experts, who enjoy the opportunity for straight talk, industry updates and classic networking.
Registration is now open for the conference, to be held at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Stevens Point. See www.smallwindconference.com for links to conference registration at the early bird rate, and discounted rooms at the Holiday Inn. Consider adding a few days to attend the Midwest Renewable Energy Association’s Energy Fair in nearby Custer, which runs from Friday to Sunday after the Small Wind Conference.
This year, sponsorship opportunities range from the top Neodymium niche to crowd-sourcing kegs and munchies. Potential sponsors and exhibitors are urged to contact Samantha Smart Merritt at email@example.com for more information.
