PV Design & Installation Basics Workshop at SUNI Delhi, January 08
The New York State Energy Research and Development Agency (NYSERDA) and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC), in cooperation with SUNY Delhi is pleased to offer a four and a half day course designed for those who have an interest in PV and want to learn how to design and install a PV system.
Typically, the background and experience of each participant can vary significantly. We endeavor to make this course meaningful to all who attend, from the homeowner looking to make an informed decision, to the tradesman who wants to install a PV system.

Instructors
Mr. Robert Morris, Retired SUNY Delhi, Assistant Professor Emeritus Status
Professor Morris taught for 28 years in the Electrical Construction and Maintenance Program. He was instrumental in obtaining I.S.P accreditation for SUNY Delhi, and establishing a course in Photovoltaic Design & Installation, which he taught until his retirement. Professor Morris continues teaching workshops for SUNY Delhi as well is working in the electrical and photovoltaic
trades.
Mr. William Burke, Associate Professor, SUNY Delhi William Burke is an Associate Professor at SUNY Delhi and has taught in the Electrical Construction program for the past 17 years. He has been a member of Local 325/ IBEW in Binghamton, N.Y. since 1977 and has a Masters degree in Vocational Education from SUNY Oswego.
This course is being partially funded by NYSERDA and IREC.The balance due from participants is $300. Lodging and meals are the responsibility of the
participant. Registrants will receive a listing of local lodging and dining venues. Registration deadline is December 14, 2007.
